The Coalition for the Prevention of Native American Youth Suicide staff is made up largely of volunteers who need your support.
Call us at (800) 490-4770 to discuss volunteer opportunities.
How can you help?
- Give your time: Volunteer to help with general administrative work (telecommuting is just fine). Volunteers assist our staff members with social media, web maintenance, telemarketing, mailings, filing and other administrative tasks.
- Give a gift. Donations of real estate, art, boats and cars are always welcomed. In many cases a donation of real estate can provide a significant tax advantage to the donor. (Click here for a PDF about the benefits of real estate gifting.)
- Give a call. There is an immediate need for help in contacting local, state and federal advocacy programs, government agencies, private endowments and public trusts to make leaders and administrators aware of the crisis and of the need for them to get involved.
The Coalition for the Prevention of Native American Youth Suicide is committed to saving lives by spreading awareness of suicide prevention in Indian country. In promoting the program within your community, volunteering and supporting efforts to sustain community-based services, you can work with us to reduce the number of Native American youth suicides.
